Around 2002, in the midst of the constant creative energy of the underground Milanese scene that I was a part of, I began making clothes for friends and local stores. They were mainly a mix of vintage pieces, interesting fabrics and homemade silk-screen prints. Each piece was one-of-a-kind and hand-sewn.
In 2010, I moved to Paris.
CRILOI is a new line dedicated to old passions distinct pieces inspired by vintage shapes, present-day influences and researched fabrics. Having started with simple scarves in cashmere, in no time I expanded the collection to include cashmere sheathes as well.
The ambition was to create pieces with dramatic, geometric cuts that could be worn with nonchalance.
The newest collection, A/W 2013-2014 was presented in Milan in April 2013, this time with pieces made from merino wool and cashmere. It continues to focus on the ease and poise that is the essence of femininity.
